The College Board named the Clark County School District as the Advanced Placement (AP) District of the Year in 2015. Clark High School in urban Clark County has the largest population of AP students in the state, and scores higher than the global average in 16 subjects.

Vanderburg Elementary School in Henderson and Bob Miller Middle School in Henderson were recognized by TheBestSchools.org as one of the Top 50 Best American Public Elementary Schools by TheBestSchools.org.

Clark County School District (CCSD) Magnet and Career and Technical Academies (CTAs) offer learning opportunities related to various themes for interested students. Students from across the District may apply to a Magnet or CTA programs, regardless of the region in which they reside.
